The method behind each calculation — which equation, which assumption, which limit of validity.
- Section AnalysisComputes the moment-curvature behaviour and the axial load-moment interaction of a reinforced concrete section by the fiber method. Concrete and steel each take their own constitutive curve, and the material factors come from the user.
- Column DesignChecks a reinforced concrete column against TS 500 and TBDY 2018 for axial load, bending, shear and torsion. It can select the reinforcement automatically or verify the reinforcement you entered, and it reports the confinement zone and detailing rules one by one.
- Single Pile AnalysisLateral load by the p-y method, axial capacity and settlement by t-z/Q-z. Which equation, which assumption, which limit of validity.
- Pile GroupAxial efficiency and block failure, lateral shadowing row by row. Which rule comes from where, and over which range it holds.
- Spun Concrete Pole DesignThe longitudinal and transverse reinforcement are handled as two independent layers, and the design runs in two stages, first what is required and then whether what you applied is enough. Covers how the TEDAŞ safety factor becomes a design constraint, what the bending-test simulation does and does not say, and how the reinforcement zones are computed.
Verification
Which worked example and which field test each calculation was checked against.
- Section Analysis — VerificationThe fiber section calculation is checked against closed-form solutions, a published worked example and 39 reinforced concrete columns tested in the laboratory. On none of the thirty-nine specimens did the computed capacity exceed the moment the specimen actually carried.
- Column Design — VerificationThe column calculation is checked in two layers. The section capacity comes from the fiber engine verified against laboratory-tested columns, while the TS 500 and TBDY 2018 detailing rules are each checked at their limit values.
- Single Pile Analysis — VerificationWhich worked example and which field test the single-pile calculation was checked against, with the measured and computed value at every point and the magnitude, direction and cause of each deviation.
- Pile Group — VerificationWhich equation and which measurement the group efficiency, block failure and lateral row multipliers were checked against, with the magnitude and direction of every comparison.
