Problem. The earth pressure generator is verified without running the solver. The active pressure coefficient is compared with the closed form.

Reference document. The Rankine and Jaky coefficients are used.

The active earth pressure coefficient is computed with the Rankine relation.

Ka=1−sin⁡φ1+sin⁡φK_a = \dfrac{1-\sin\varphi}{1+\sin\varphi}

Numerical model. There is no finite element model, and the coefficient is compared directly with the closed form.
